The first phase of renovations for the Kalamazoo Farmers Market is nearing completion, and the community is invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate on Saturday, June 25 at 10 a.m. at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market (1204 Bank St).

Kzoo Parks and the Kalamazoo Civic will host a series of creative workshops this summer for youth and teens ages 10 to 16. The workshops are free to attend and will be held every Wednesday from June 15 to July 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Kalamazoo Civic (426 S Park St).

Kzoo Parks will host six Summer Cinema events this year at different parks and community spaces throughout the city. The Summer Cinema movie series offers free outdoor movies on select Fridays throughout the summer.
