Tree Lighting Ceremony

The City of Kalamazoo will host its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 28 in Bronson Park! Festivities are planned from 5 to 7 p.m. The lighting of the park will occur at approximately 6 p.m. Everyone in the community is invited to celebrate the holiday season and the diverse traditions that make it so special.

South St will be closed by the park on the day of the event. The street will be open only to staff and the Holly Jolly Trolley. The street is expected to reopen around 7 p.m.

The Downtown Kalamazoo Holly Jolly Trolley will run during and after the event from 5 to 9 p.m., offering free rides around downtown.

  • Grateful For Letters - opportunity for guests to share what they are most grateful for this holiday season, with a chance to be featured on Kzoo Parks social media
  • Visits & photos with Santa

  • Ice Guru
