Mayors’ Riverfront Park is a 64 acre recreation destination bordered by the Kalamazoo River. If you’re looking to enjoy the great outdoors either by kayak, bike, or foot, then Mayors’ Riverfront Park is the place to be. Or if soaking up some sun while enjoying a baseball game is more your style, the Growlers Baseball field is just steps away. The 2,700 feet of the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail that ambles through the park offers a spectacle of a view for pedestrians and bicyclists alike. With a picnic area that includes a grill, nature walk, playground, and six hoop basketball court, Mayors’ Riverfront is an ideal place to be active, or relax, surrounded by all that nature has to offer. Mayors’ Riverfront Park received its name in 2000 to honor all Kalamazoo Mayors.
