  • Please be on time for drop off and pick up.  If running late, please call 337-8191 to let someone know.  We will try to wait, but departure time must be departure time.
  • Your Field Tripper needs a packed lunch every day. Snacks are also a good idea as they get hungry on our way home.  We will have tubs to put them in to transport them in our vehicles.
  • Electronics can be brought for trips BUT if they become a distraction they will be taken away and returned at the end of the day.
  • If you need to reach your child, staff, or myself, please call the office at 337-8191 and they will contact us and we will return your call as soon as possible.
  • Talk with your child before camp about the importance of listening, following directions, cleaning up after themselves, and asking for permission before going to the bathroom, concessions etc.
  • If your child(s) behavior becomes a serious issue on the trips, the following steps will be followed:
  1. A time out from the trip they are on.
  2. We will talk with parent at pick up time and discuss options.
  3. Continued issues will lead to missing a day of trips to not being allowed back for the remainder of week.
  4. If serious incidents, for example bullying, stealing from campers, shoplifting, or fighting will be automatic dismissal from program
  • Label everything and put extra money for your child in a zip lock bag.  Staff will NOT be carrying anyone’s money but will assist at concession stands etc.
  • We suggest your child bring a back pack or a string bag to carry their things.
  • Upon returning from every trip, ALL Field Trippers will go inside to the Community Room to be checked out.  This will ensure that each camper is picked up by a parent/guardian/someone given permission to pick up that camper. Bring your license for sign out so we can match the names on your child’s sign in/sign out sheet with you or the person who is picking up your child.

  • As you will notice, we are returning prior to 5 and you can pick your child up then. Pick up is 5:00 p.m.  If you work until 5:00 p.m., please make every effort to be here as soon as you get out of work.  There will be adult staff at the office until everyone is picked up.
  • There are concessions stands or gift shops available on some trips.  If you wish to, you can send extra money.  Encourage your child not to lend money to others as that can lead to issues.  Again, staff will not hold their money but will assist them at the counter.
