PAL Football & Cheer League

Football on a sunny grass field.

The Kalamazoo Police Athletic League (PAL) Youth Football and Cheer gives kids ages 5 to 12 an opportunity to gain experience playing for state, regional and Nationals. Kalamazoo PAL has joined American Youth Football (AYF) the largest youth football league in America.

Our program offers a supportive, inclusive environment where young athletes can learn, grow, and excel in both football and cheerleading. Through sportsmanship, teamwork, and mentorship, we promote positive youth development while helping participants build confidence, character, and lasting friendships.

  • Our football program offers boys and girls the opportunity to learn and play the game of football in a structured and supportive setting.
  • We provide coaching, equipment, and facilities for players of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.
  • Our cheerleading program provides young athletes with the chance to showcase their spirit, enthusiasm, and athleticism through cheerleading routines and performances.
  • Cheerleaders learn cheers, chants, and dances, as well as essential skills such as stunting and tumbling, under the guidance of experienced coaches.

The Kalamazoo PAL Youth Football and Cheer program is more than just a sports program; it's a community where young athletes can learn, grow, and thrive both on and off the field. Join us and be a part of something special!

Concussion Information

We plan all of our programs to be as safe as possible and fun for everyone, but many activities have some unavoidable risk. We want to make sure parents and student athletes understand signs and symptoms of concussions before they participate.
