Families are invited to stop by Mayors’ Riverfront Park (251 Mills St) on Wednesday, April 8 from 4 to 6 p.m. to pick up Egg Hunt gift bags, craft activities, and take a photo with the Bunny. This drive-thru event is being offered as an alternative following the cancellation of Saturday’s Egg Hunt due to weather.
The event will take place in a convenient drive-thru format, allowing families to pick up gift bags for their children filled with candy and toys and craft activities from the Kalamazoo Valley Museum. The Bunny will also be available for photos at the event.
Some lucky participants will even find a golden egg inside their bag, which can be redeemed for a special prize like tickets from the K-Wings, a $25 Erbelli’s gift card, a $25 Art Bayou gift card, Growlers prize bag, free attraction coupons from Zap Zone, or a Kik Pool Family Season Pass.
“The weather didn’t cooperate last weekend, but we don’t want families to miss out,” said Morgan Gillies, Special Events Coordinator for Kzoo Parks. “We’re happy to offer this drive-thru option so kids can still get their gift bags, see the Bunny, and join in the fun.”
