Kzoo Parks Summer Cinema Event Series Starts Friday, June 27

Kzoo Parks will show three free movies this year as part of its Summer Cinema event series. Every year, Summer Cinema welcomes moviegoers to enjoy a night with family and friends, watching a movie outside in our City parks. There will be one movie event per month from June – August:

  • Friday, June 27
    • Moana 2
    • Frays Park (4400 Canterbury Ave)
  • Friday. July 25
    • U-Pick the Flick (IF, Harold and the Purple Crayon, or The Garfield Movie)
    • Crane Park (2001 S Westnedge Ave)
  • Friday, August 22
    • U-Pick the Flick (The Fall Guy, Twisters, or Top Gun Maverick)
    • Spring Valley Park (2600 Mt Olivet Road)
    • Drive in movie: The movie will be shown on the soccer field at the southeast end of the park. Guests can park on the field to watch the movie drive-in style or bring chairs and blankets to watch from the lawn.

Pre-movie activities will start at 6 p.m. and include music, free face painting, and free concessions (while supplies last) and movies will start at 7 p.m. New this year, each event will also feature handmade products for sale from youth entrepreneurs. Summer Cinema events are free, and all community members are welcome.
