The Annual Egg Hunt will return to Mayors’ Riverfront Park on Saturday, April 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to join in the spring fun at this free community event. The Egg Hunt is presented by Advia Credit Union with support from the Kalamazoo Growlers.
There will be two egg hunts starting at 2:30 and 3:15 p.m., and the field will be separated into two age groups for each (ages 0-5 and 6-9). Eggs on the field are empty, but kids can turn in their collected eggs for a bag of candy and toys. Some bags will even have a golden egg, which can be redeemed for a prize.
In addition to the egg hunt, families can enjoy fun themed games and take pictures with the Bunny and Growlers’ mascot Porter. The Kalamazoo Growlers will also have bounce houses set up and food available for purchase.
“There will be plenty of opportunities for family fun at this year’s Egg Hunt Event,” said Kya Mitchell, Special Events Coordinator for Kzoo Parks. “Thousands of eggs will be out on the field for kids to collect, the Bunny will be here to visit and take photos with, and there will be spring themed games to play. We hope you’ll join us for this fun springtime tradition!”
