Natural Features Overlay Review Input Session - Milham Park Project

Join us to talk about Natural Features Protection as it relates to the upcoming improvements planned for 2027 at Milham Park.

Planned improvements include building new overlook decks along the north side of Portage Creek with accessible walkways, repairing the main parking lot on Kilgore Road, relocating the small parking area off Lovers Lane into the park to improve safety, and adding more accessible parking spaces.

Since Milham Park is in the Natural Features Protection Overlay, any development or construction must be reviewed to ensure that it is done thoughtfully to protect our community's natural features as much as possible. 

At this meeting we will discuss the proposed park improvements, demolition, and those impacts on the Natural Features Protection zoning ordinance overlay elements like protected trees, wetlands, woodlands, water resources, and slopes.
