Kik Pool (1018 Walter Street) will have a soft opening on Monday, June 9, as lifeguard training continues throughout the week. The pool will be open with regular hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and will close for lifeguard training on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning. The pool will have temporarily reduced hours on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate staffing.

Join us for a fun game night with karaoke, music, board games, refreshments, food, and giveaways (while supplies last). Board games will include Giant Spoons, the teen edition of Cards Against Humanity, Apples to Apples, and more. The theme is glow, so wear your neon colors!

The Kalamazoo Youth Action Council (KYAC) was formed in 2020 by Kzoo Parks as a way for youth in Kalamazoo to provide input on youth programs and activities while developing leadership skills, learning about City government, networking, and making friends. The council currently includes 13 members ages 13 to 18 years of age.
