Restrooms, water fountains, and vehicle gates at some City of Kalamazoo parks have closed for the fall and winter months and will reopen May 1 of next year. Parks will continue to be open year-round, daily from 8 a.m. to sunset.

Lunchtime Live! will return to Bronson Park (200 South Rose Street) in downtown Kalamazoo this summer starting Friday, June 14. This summer event series offers live music, summertime games, and a variety of food trucks every Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through August 30. Lunchtime Live! is presented by Lake Michigan Credit Union.
Food trucks will be lined up along the park on South Street with other vendors set up throughout the park selling food and other goods. Each event will feature regional music talent on the Rotary Stage, located on the west end of the park. This year’s entertainment lineup includes:
On August 16, Lunchtime Live! will feature a youth talent show. Youth and teens can participate with music, dance, and comedy performances. Youth and teens 18 and under who are interested in sharing their talents can register online through Thursday, July 25 at www.kzooparks.org/talentshow
Lunchtime Live! is free to attend and all community members are welcome.
