Kzoo Parks Kicks Off Summer Cinema July 11 with Moana 2 and Family Fun

Kzoo Parks will kick off its Summer Cinema movie event series on Friday, July 11 with a free showing of Moana 2 at Frays Park (4400 Canterbury Ave). This event was rescheduled from Friday, June 27 due to the weather.

Pre-movie activities will start at 6 p.m. and include music, free face painting, and free concessions (while supplies last) and movies will start at 7 p.m. New this year, each event will also feature handmade products for sale from youth entrepreneurs.

This is the first of three movies in the event series. The next movies will be in Crane Park and Spring Valley Park:

  • Friday, July 25
    • U-Pick the Flick (IF, Harold and the Purple Crayon, or The Garfield Movie)
    • Crane Park (2001 S Westnedge Ave)
  • Friday, August 22
    • U-Pick the Flick (The Fall Guy, Twisters, or Top Gun Maverick)
    • Spring Valley Park (2600 Mt Olivet Road)
    • Drive in movie: The movie will be shown on the soccer field at the southeast end of the park. Guests can park on the field to watch the movie drive-in style or bring chairs and blankets to watch from the lawn.
