The Annual Egg Hunt will return to Mayors’ Riverfront Park on Saturday, March 30 and everyone is invited to join in the spring fun from 2 to 4 p.m. The Egg Hunt is presented by Advia Credit Union.

There will be three egg hunts starting at 2:30, 3, and 3:30 p.m., and the field will be separated into two age groups for each (ages 0-5 and 6-9). Participants will be given wristbands to help even out the number of kids for each egg hunt. Once a time slot is full, families will be added to the next one available. Once kids have their wristbands, families can enjoy other activities and games while waiting for their egg hunt to begin.

Eggs on the field are empty, but kids can turn in their collected eggs for a bag of candy and toys. Some bags will even have a golden egg, which can be redeemed for a prize.

In addition to the egg hunt, families can enjoy springtime crafts, fun themed games, face painting, and take pictures with the Bunny and Growlers’ mascot Porter. The Kalamazoo Growlers will also have bounce houses set up and food available for purchase.

This event is free, and although the activities are geared towards families with children, all community members are welcome.
