Join Kzoo Parks, the Kalamazoo River Watershed Council, and the Kalamazoo Nature Center to learn how to kayak at Woods Lake! This free event is open to kids 7 and up who are new to kayaking.
The event will start with an instructional paddle on the lake for about an hour and a half with a fun race at the end! After paddling, we’ll grab lunch (free lunch provided) and have fun learning about the local watershed through different games and activities. Goodies like dry bags, stickers, and educational resources will also be available to take home.
