Major League Baseball (MLB) Jr. Home Run Derby offers an opportunity for softball and baseball players, ages 12-16, to showcase their hitting skills, compete against their peers, and earn a spot at the National Finals, which take place during the MLB All-Star Week.
A softball competition will also be offered in the 14U and 16U age divisions with specific rules and guidelines.
This free event is offered through a collaboration between Kzoo Parks, Kalamazoo Police Activities Athletic League, the MLB, and the Kalamazoo Growlers.
