Swim for Success offers after-school tutoring and swimming instruction from some of the best instructors around- the Kalamazoo College Swim Team!
Swim for Success is a program that combines after school tutoring, physical fitness, and developing or improving valuable swimming skills. Not only will strong swimming skills ensure that your child is comfortable and safe around water, but it will set them up to enjoy the vast experiences that life near the Great Lakes offers.
The program helps develop swimming technique for youth of all abilities, and includes tutoring to ensure your child will excel at school. Tutoring and swimming instruction are provided by the Kalamazoo College Swim Team and other students from Kalamazoo College. Space is limited to first 40 registrants.
Parents, please review the concussion information below (the Parents & Athlete Information Sheet) and return a signed copy on the first night of the program.
- Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, parents and guardians are not permitted inside to watch lessons
- If your child is sick, please do not bring them to Swim for Success
- Please remember to bring a mask for your child
- If your child does not have any homework or extra work to be completed or worked on during tutor time, please do not drop them off until the swim lesson portion. We want to ensure all youth are able to focus on their studies and if there are children without school work to complete or review, they can become a distraction.
