Tutoring, homework help, and activities for youth up to 12 years old.

Kzoo Parks After School Programs provide a fun atmosphere for youth to complete their homework, reading, or other school work following the school day. Tutoring and assistance are available and educational games, computers, cards, and more activities are available once school work is completed.

After School Programs are available at three locations: the Youth Development Center, Station 5 Community Center, and Community of Christ Church in the Oakwood neighborhood. Community of Christ Church/Oakwood Neighborhood

The Oakwood Neighborhood program provides homework help for elementary age students. Fun educational games, cards, recreational sports, various field trips, and more is offered once tasks are completed. Space is limited to 12 registrants.

Youth Development Center

The YDC is an after-school program that offers homework help as well as recreational activities once daily homework tasks have been completed. Activities include: free time on computers and gaming systems, recreational sports, various field trips, and more. Healthy snacks and transportation from school to the facility is also included.

Station #5 Community Facility

Fire Station #5 is an after-school program that offers academic assistance for all that attend. The completion of homework, as well as 20 minutes of reading, is required each day. After academic work is complete the students are allowed to participate in recreational activities. Activities include air hockey, foosball, arts and crafts and computer use. Upon arrival, students are given a healthy snack prior to the start of homework. There are also various field trips scheduled throughout the program.
