Summer Cinema

There’s something special about watching a movie outside, luckily Kzoo Parks has that covered for you this summer! We bring the movies to you with a large LED video board in the parks you already play in.

This year we will be hosting six movie events on every other Friday in different parks and community spaces throughout the city. This is a free event, and all community members are welcome.

Movie Lineup

Friday, June 16 - Jurassic World at Spring Valley Park

Spring Valley Park, 2600 Mt Olivet Road
Drive in movie: The movie will be shown on the soccer field at the southeast end of the park. You can park on the field to watch the movie drive-in style or bring chairs and blankets to watch from the lawn.
U-Pick the Flick Movie Winner: Jurassic World

Friday, July 14 - Air Bud at Fairmount Dog Park

Fairmount Dog Park, 1108 Prairie Avenue

The SPCA will have adoptable animals, obstacle course demonstration, local vendors, and a photo booth.

Friday, August 4 - The Bad Guys at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market (Rescheduled from June 30)

The Summer Cinema movie at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market originally scheduled for Friday, June 30 was postponed due to air quality. The movie has been rescheduled for Friday, August 4.
